Your music connects on every level, whether it’s physical, emotional or spiritual. Impressive musicianship and song writing. Love how you leave this undefined space for us listeners to draw our own images and blend in our own personal lives when listening. Beacons is one of my favorite albums of all time! olaussem
A stoner-rock opera with dystopian themes, the Italian band's third LP fuses apocalyptic fury with psychedelic splendor. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 29, 2023
Combining crooned murder ballads with raw, angsty hard rock hooks, Melbourne's The Ugly Kings are a wrecking crew well worth watching. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 15, 2021

I have been hooked since the first time I heard Asleep next to Science. My brother recommended I check them out knowing that I would probably like the album. I can say that I didn't like it, I fucking lived it. I thought all 9 songs were perfect and Sayer of the law .... track 1 caught my attention immediately, reading the lyrics made me love the band even more, lyrics are very important to me, maybe because I write words and I do not know how to write music, anyhow, they were more then unique, they were brilliant, and unlike anything else I had heard before. I have been looking for something else by the band for years, I was definitely under the impression that I wouldn't hear anything else because it seemed as though this unbelievably band just disappeared.
I can say finding this album although I wish there were more was obviously was very exciting for me. I love both tracks as I love the whole album before. they have 11 songs I know of, and every one is fantastic, I really hope to hear a full length album soon... I would say on a scale from one to ten this is a ten as is their first. I'm surprised that few know about them, they may be too evolved for the masses .
I am psyched that they are not done, it would be tragic as far as art goes.

"Missing" from Fade, where the opening here clearly echoes the final throes of track 8 there, the segue would have been seamless.
Thank you for releasing it - I'm not sure the "Whereabouts Unknown" got resolved, though. Peter Jones
